Don’t be a loser, get out and Vote!
The Campaign Fear-Tactic: Right-leaning candidates in Texas frequently warn voters that electing Democrats like James Talarico will lead to unchecked foreign land acquisition (such as millions of acres bought by foreign entities) and localized enclaves operating under autonomous legal systems like Shariah law. The Reality Check: These phenomena—foreign land purchases and rapid demographic and cultural shifts in fast-growing suburbs like Anna—are already happening right now under long-standing Republican leadership and a fully Republican-controlled state government. The Voter Mandate: Rather than giving current incumbents a pass or accepting their warnings about hypothetical futures, voters should hold the party currently in power accountable for what is already taking place, using their ballots to demand actual solutions rather than empty campaign rhetoric.
